What's shown in the header image?

Our header image, reproduced courtesy of Durisol Building Systems Inc., Hamilton, Ontario, is a closeup photo of a Durisol® brand cement-bonded wood fiber wall form. Durisol® is just one of our recommended "breathable" wall materials. Similar to Durisol® is the Faswall® brand cement-bonded wood fiber wall form, produced by ShelterWorks of Corvallis, Oregon.

In the low-density fiber-cement composite material comprising a Durisol® wall form, pictured above in our header image, you can see the "mineralized" wood chips within a matrix of Portland cement.
